Skipping Stones - Oil Pastel and Charcoal

For me, true and meaningful inspiration comes from a place within, filtered through experiences with nature, my surroundings, art and culture. When I allow myself the freedom to experiment and play, I connect with my own voice, while honoring the process of making. It is like meditation; a prayer, expressed and shared.

Making artwork by hand inspires and connects me with unlimited creative possibilities! I work intuitively, experimenting with a variety of techniques and materials, playing with texture, color, pattern and mark making. I combine materials and techniques; mixed media, mono-print, pastel, watercolor, collage, shibori, weaving. Each hand created artwork is a unique inspiration for a textile that will be translated through digital software, put into a repeat and reproduced as a woven, embroidery or printed fabric.

My portfolio of work is constantly evolving as I develop new work. You can view examples and details of my collection here. There is so much more to see. I would love the opportunity to share my full portfolio with you in person. Please email me to set up an appointment.
